Constitution Park
Parque de la Constitución is a large 55,000 m² urban park in central Marbella, built in the 1950s on the site of a former plant nursery. It has lush vegetation including tall cypresses, palm trees, olive trees, bougainvillea and jasmine, with winding paths that make it a peaceful place to stroll. Its facilities include an open-air auditorium in traditional Andalusian style, hosting musical and theatrical performances, concerts and tango nights during the summer season; a small observatory for stargazing; a café-bar; a children's play area with swings; and a vintage carousel. Since 2000, the auditorium building has also housed the Marbella Conservatory of Music and Dance. It is one of the city's most visited parks and is just a few minutes' walk from the beach.
