Panometer
At the Panometer Leipzig, visitors explore a former gasometer converted into an exhibition space showing 360° panoramas created by artist Yadegar Asisi, ranging from exotic landscapes to historical scenes, on a surface of 3,500 m² and 32 metres high. The visit includes sound effects, ambient music and light simulations recreating day and night cycles, letting you view the panorama both from ground level and from a 15-metre elevated platform reached by stairs. Each exhibition is complemented by a themed display and a short closing film, which enriches the visit and puts the main work in context.
