Fortnum & Mason
LeisureVisit: ~60 min
A department store on Piccadilly founded in 1707, famous for tea, gourmet hampers, chocolate and sweets. The name combines William Fortnum, a former royal footman, and Hugh Mason. On the façade is a clock from 1964 with figures of the two founders who come out to bow every hour. It has been a supplier to the British Royal Household for centuries.
