Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese
Food & drinkVisit: ~60 min
A historic pub on Fleet Street, entered through a narrow alley. It was rebuilt in 1667, after the Great Fire of London, and still has a maze of low-ceilinged rooms, dark beams and fireplaces. Tradition links it with the writers and journalists who frequented the street over the centuries, among them Samuel Johnson and Charles Dickens.
