Fríkirkjan í Reykjavík
CultureVisit: ~15 min
The Fríkirkjan, or Free Church of Reykjavik, is a Lutheran church beside Lake Tjörnin, in the centre of the city. It was built between 1899 and 1903 and belongs to a congregation independent of the state church. Its white wooden building and waterside setting make it a regular stop on a stroll around the lake.
