Guimard Metro Entrance at Cité
CultureVisit: ~15 min
Original entrance to the Cité metro station, on Place Louis-Lépine, designed by Hector Guimard around 1900 in Art Nouveau style. It is one of the few Guimard entrances that survive in their original place and has been listed as a historic monument since 2016. The cast-iron plant-like lines contrast with the setting of the Île de la Cité.
