Aquarium de Paris

Beneath the Trocadéro gardens, this aquarium houses more than 13,000 marine animals in 43 tanks, including a Médusarium with 50 species of jellyfish and the largest shark tank in France, with 3 million litres. Visitors can stroke koi carp in the touch pool, attend educational talks on jellyfish and other animals, watch screenings in two cinemas (one for families and another with National Geographic programming) and enjoy water shows. The route, of roughly 1h30 to 2h, is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs, with gentle ramps and lifts. There is a café and a shop at the end of the route.
