Royal Courts of Justice
The Royal Courts of Justice is a Victorian neo-Gothic judicial building designed by George Edmund Street, located on the Strand, in Westminster, housing the High Court and the Court of Appeal of England and Wales. Visitors can walk through the Great Hall, with its cathedral-like proportions, which leads to historic oak-panelled courtrooms, and stroll along its extensive corridors. During visits, mock trials are held in various courtrooms, and a selection of historic objects is displayed, which the public can handle with the help of staff.
