Galerie Véro-Dodat
The Galerie Véro-Dodat is a neoclassical covered arcade in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, characterised by its black-and-white floor tiles laid in a diagonal pattern, marble columns, gilt details and low ceilings decorated with landscape paintings. Visitors walk through a gallery lined with shops set along a strict horizontal plane, including designer boutiques, contemporary art galleries and shops selling antiques, décor and art books. At the entrance on Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau is the shop-workshop of shoe designer Christian Louboutin, and the façade on Rue du Bouloi is decorated with statues of Hermes and a reclining satyr.
