The Tours Aillaud are a group of 18 residential towers in Nanterre, on the outskirts of Paris, formed by stacked cylinders. Their cladding is decorated with glass-paste frescoes depicting clouds, designed by Fabio Rieti, hence their nickname Tours Nuages ('Cloud Towers'). Next to the tallest towers, the play area includes a large snake-shaped sculpture designed by Laurence Rieti. The outdoor space was laid out with more than 1,600 trees, so that each apartment had its own designated tree.
