Caleido
Caleido, known as the Fifth Tower, is a 181-metre, 36-storey skyscraper that rises next to the Cuatro Torres Business Area complex on the Paseo de la Castellana. Its design, by Fenwick Iribarren and Serrano Suñer Arquitectura, is inspired by the monolith in '2001: A Space Odyssey' and it holds LEED Gold certification. The building houses Europe's first vertical university campus (IE University), a Quirónsalud sports medicine centre, a shopping area with more than 25 brands, a varied food and drink offering, a cinema specialising in original-version films and Art Deco, and a programme of cultural and leisure events. Visitors can walk around its shopping areas, enjoy the food, attend film screenings or take part in family and music activities. Its iconic architecture and diverse offering make it a dynamic meeting point in the north of Madrid.
