Yoshiki-en
Yoshiki-en is a Japanese garden beside the Yoshiki River in Nara. It occupies the site of a former subsidiary temple of Kōfuku-ji and preserves a Taishō-era residence designated a Prefectural Cultural Property. Visitors can explore three distinct gardens: a pond garden with a traditional pavilion, a moss garden with a small tea house, and a flower garden used for the tea ceremony. The tea house can be booked for private events. Admission is free for foreign tourists who show their passport. The garden borrows the views of Mount Kasuga and Mount Wakakusa as part of its scenery.
