The venue is part of a complex connected to Le Trabendo and Boule Noire, and its hall can hold 1,389 people standing or 954 seated. The orchestra floor has an adjustable platform that can tilt and rise via a hydraulic system. La Cigale has hosted the Les Inrockuptibles festival since 1988 and also stages the Factory Festival.
