Letná Park

NatureVisit: ~60 minFree

Letná Park spreads over a raised hill next to the Vltava River, offering panoramic views of Prague's Old Town. The park features a giant metronome installed on the pedestal where a statue of Stalin once stood, and nearby is the Hanavský Pavilion, a pseudo-Baroque iron structure built for the 1891 Jubilee Exhibition. Visitors can walk across broad open areas used for outdoor sports and recreation, and skateboarders are a common sight around the metronome area. The park is also home to one of the oldest carousels in Europe, dating from the late 19th century, although it is currently undergoing restoration.
