The Palace of Discovery is a science museum and cultural centre in the west wing of the Grand Palais, in Paris's 8th arrondissement. Founded in 1937 by Nobel laureate Jean Perrin, it occupies 25,000 m² and holds permanent exhibitions on mathematics, physics, astronomy, chemistry, geology and biology, with interactive experiments and talks by lecturers. The museum receives 600,000 visitors a year and has been part of Universcience since 2010. Currently undergoing renovation, its activities continue at Les Étincelles, in the 15th arrondissement, with more than 100 exhibits and planetarium sessions. It is due to reopen in March 2027 at its home in the Grand Palais.
