Concorde Bridge
CultureVisit: ~30 minFree
The Concorde Bridge crosses the River Seine and connects Place de la Concorde with the Quai d'Orsay, linking the 7th and 8th arrondissements of Paris. Visitors can walk across its neoclassical structure, built between 1787 and 1791 using stones from the Bastille, demolished during the French Revolution. Over its history, the bridge has undergone name changes and the installation and later removal of monumental statues, although it currently retains no sculptures. The bridge is part of the Banks of the Seine, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and carries heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the heart of Paris.
