Philharmonic Hall
CultureVisit: ~30 min
Concert hall on Hope Street, home of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. The current building opened in 1939, designed by Herbert J. Rowse, and is an outstanding example of Art Deco with brickwork and stone details. It can be appreciated well from the street and, if there is a concert, from the inside too. It lies on the cultural axis between the two cathedrals.
