Torre Ladrones is a watchtower of Muslim origin located in the Dunas de Artola area, next to Puerto de Cabopino, in Marbella. At over 14 metres high, it is considered the tallest watchtower on the Málaga coast. Its interior is organised into three rooms and a flat roof terrace. It formed part of the coastal fortification line of the Andalusian Mediterranean shore and its function was defensive: to warn of possible enemies and coordinate the defence. It was declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1985 and is one of the most visited monuments in Marbella.
