Dalí Paris is a private museum dedicated to Salvador Dalí, located in the Montmartre district, 30 metres from the Place du Tertre. Opened in 1991 and renovated in 2018, it holds more than 300 works from the Dalí Universe collection, including three-dimensional sculptures of famous surrealist images such as the Space Elephant and Alice in Wonderland, as well as works on paper such as Moses and Monotheism, Memories of Surrealism and Don Quixote. The tour is accompanied by music, and the atmosphere is theatrical and colourful, true to the Dalinian spirit. The museum stages regular temporary exhibitions and offers creative workshops for children. It also has two adjoining galleries: the Dalí Gallery, which displays sculptures, engravings and lithographs by the master, and the Montmartre Gallery, which shows works by contemporary artists with views over the Parisian rooftops. Open daily from 10am to 6pm.
