Neo-Mudéjar theatre opened in 1910, designed by the architect Adolfo Morales de los Ríos. It is named after the Cádiz composer Manuel de Falla and stands in Plaza de Fragela, in the very centre of Cádiz. With its red brick façade and horseshoe arches, it is the stage for the Cádiz Carnival's Concurso de Agrupaciones, the city's great gathering of comparsas, chirigotas, choirs and quartets.
