Carlos Belmonte Stadium
Carlos Belmonte Stadium is Albacete's main sports venue and the ground where Albacete Balompié play. Opened in 1960, it holds 17,524 spectators and is the largest stadium in Castilla-La Mancha. It has hosted five international matches of the Spanish senior national team, as well as youth-level fixtures, and has been the setting for mass concerts by artists such as Sting and Maná. It is part of the Carlos Belmonte Sports Complex, which includes swimming pools, tennis and padel courts, a pelota court, a gym and a thermal centre, among other facilities. It is on Avenida de España, near the University of Castilla-La Mancha and the Botanical Garden.
