Delhi Ridge
NatureVisit: ~120 min
The Delhi Ridge is the northern extension of the Aravalli range and runs through the city like a belt of scrub forest, Delhi's main green lung. In its northern section, landmarks of colonial history survive, such as the Flagstaff Tower, from 1828, and the Mutiny Memorial, erected in 1863 in memory of the British fallen of the 1857 siege. It is explored on foot along trails among acacias and bare rock.
