Lamb & Flag
Food & drinkVisit: ~60 min
A historic pub on Rose Street, an alley next to Garrick Street, in Covent Garden. The building dates from the 18th century and a visit by Charles Dickens is attributed to it. It was nicknamed the Bucket of Blood because of the bare-knuckle fights held on the premises in the 19th century. Today it is still a traditional pub with a wooden bar and small rooms, and people drink outside, in the alley.
