Le Vaisseau
Le Vaisseau is a science culture centre in Strasbourg designed for children and families to experiment and handle things. Its permanent exhibitions cover themes such as artificial intelligence in La Fabrique, construction in Le Chantier, light and optical illusions in La Caverne, and fauna and flora in Le Jardin, as well as spaces on animals, water, the human body, mathematics and creativity. It has an outdoor garden of 5,000 m² with picnic tables, a rest area, children's games, a rucher d'observation and an insect hotel. The visit is rounded out by a programme of shows, workshops, stages and temporary exhibitions, such as the one dedicated to the Moon. There is no catering service, but picnicking is allowed in the sala des 1000 miettes and on the terrace, and there are snack vending machines.
