Baths of Agrippa
CultureVisit: ~15 min
The baths that Marcus Agrippa built between 25 and 19 BC, fed by the Aqua Virgo, were the first in Rome. A remnant about 10 metres high of the circular caldarium hall, around 25 m in diameter, survives behind some houses on Via dell'Arco della Ciambella; the street takes its name from its doughnut shape, between the Pantheon and Largo Argentina.
