Water Museum - Garrigós Wells
CultureVisit: ~45 min
A water museum housed since 2009 in three large cisterns dug into the rock of Benacantil, next to Plaza del Puente and the entrance to the Ereta park. They took their current form in 1863, when Antonio Garrigós fitted them out to collect rainwater, and they supplied the city until water arrived from Sax in 1898. Their capacities are about 141,000, 275,000 and 425,000 litres.
