MACA - Alicante Museum of Contemporary Art
CultureVisit: ~90 min
The MACA occupies, in Plaza de Santa María in the old town, the oldest civil building in the city, built in 1685 as a grain store. Its core is the 20th-century art collection donated by the Alicante-born Eusebio Sempere in 1977, with painting, sculpture, drawing and prints by Picasso, Dalí, Miró and Chillida. The permanent exhibition is partly rotated, so each visit may show different pieces.
