Urban beach of fine golden sand within Santander bay, where the water stays very calm with no waves. It has lifeguards, a shower and foot-wash, bins, waste collection, a fountain and access for people with disabilities, as well as easy parking. A wooden walkway runs along and links this beach with La Magdalena and Los Bikinis beaches, forming a beachfront walk of almost 1,500 metres. Reach it via the San Martín headland, close to the city centre and next to the Palacio de Festivales, the Maritime Museum and the Oceanographic Centre.
