The Convent of Santa Cruz la Real is in the north of Segovia's urban area, in the San Lorenzo neighbourhood. Today its buildings form IE University's campus in the city, and its church is used as the main conference hall. Notable features of the convent complex are the church with its late Gothic portal, the Renaissance cloister, the chapter house and the refectory, now fitted out as meeting rooms. On the north side of the church is the Cave of Santo Domingo, reached through an antechapel built in the time of the Catholic Monarchs.
