Botín Centre
The Centro Botín is a contemporary art centre housed in two ceramic volumes suspended on pillars facing Santander Bay, by Renzo Piano, which integrates the building with the Pereda Gardens. Inside, its rooms host temporary exhibitions produced for the space itself, shows by artists awarded grants by the Foundation and presentations on historical and contemporary drawing, as well as the Foundation's collection, which is displayed regularly. The centre organises guided tours with a facilitator and experience tours that require advance booking, and offers accessibility resources, in-room support and a space for babies. On the ground floor, a glazed space open from the gardens houses the shop, Café Centro Botín and ticket sales, and an exterior lift takes you up to a balcony with views of the bay.
